One thing... no bug but a little feature, could the order of the shortcuts in the dropdown list reflect the order of the linked posts in the thread. In the moment it is the other way around (or the shortcut I added last is at the top, as I was adding from top to bottom).

We had a debate about this very thing. Right now, it's sorting by "most recent" which (in my opinion) is the better way to sort. Having it in this order, allows you to control the order by which things appear (for instance - you can always go back, delete and then re-add a shortcut if you want to have it at (or near) the top of the list).

I'm certainly open to continued debate on this - I'll just need to be convince by a fair number of people, that a different sort is preferred...

You are right, this way you can sort it yourself, although in a bit cumbersome way. Leave it as it is, now knowing how it works I can get the order right the next time.

Exactly - having the flexibility to change things, is why I went this direction.

Another good example would be a huge thread with moderation action taken against someone (somewhere) - a Moderator can shortcut to the controversial post and have it appear right at the top (regardless of whatever other shortcuts had been added)...

You'd achieve more flexibility by allowing every user to access a sorting option for shortcuts, so different users can have the same list displayed in the order they prefer. This way you can avoid the cumbersome method of manual arrangement.

When it comes to moderations (which include thread warnings), you could allow moderators to toggle on red text for the display of the shortcut as well as turning the default color for the drop down menu red. So before anyone clicks on it to see the drop down menu, there would already be red text visible, but after opening the drop down menu only the moderation notice would be displayed in red text. This way moderator actions would stick out regardless of the sorting option and it would also make it easier for users to notice that a thread warning has been posted somewhere in the thread, because the Shortcuts menu already appears in the first post of every new page.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

A Biased Review Reloaded / Open Your Eyes / Switch Gamers Club

I'll give this a try when I'm back on my computer, but I can see this being SUPER handy, especially for my nation thread!

1 - Like most enhancements I bring online, this is only Version 1.0. Feedback like this always brings great new ideas that can be implemented as we go along ( @Ryuu96 had a good one, whereby instead of always seeing the "shortcuts" text in the drop-down - we track which shortcuts you've seen or used and modify the text to read "xx new shortcuts" or something similar)

2 - I like the idea of color-coding the moderation notes - I'll look into that, too.

Color and hardcode

In any event, I appreciate you implementing this fix (as you know, Ryuu and I have discussed it before, but more extensively in recent days). Just something a bit more streamlined to get certain messages across.
