Pretty neat deal from nintendo, I will probably buy at least one set of these vouchers. I still prefer my games physical though. It should be noted though that you will still get 5% back from My Nintendo gold coins.

Alright, more sales for Xenoblade 2. Gotta bump those numbers up.

"1-2 Switch"

This is OK I guess. You basically get NSO for free with the cost savings if you plan on buying 2 titles a year.
I mean, I like my carts, but sames like Splatoon or Mario maker kind of don't work without online anyway.

At this point I'd get online even if it did nothing but this discount.

It would have been a better deal a few months ago before Walmart more or less dropped the price of Switch games to $50 across the board.

So I know this is a dumb question but I assume when Nintendo means "paid" this means promotional free online like the Twitch Prime free 12 months doesn't count? Or do they just mean paid as in the subscription in general?

It's better than nothing, but I won't be buying for now. Most new Switch games out in Australia at around $64, so still cheaper than two games with this deal which will be $135 in Oz. I understand that they're of course trying to make money, but it would be much better if the NSO sub just granted a 5-10% discount on all eShop games.

In a straight conversion that's £77 which if that's the price in the UK it's a steal as games here are around £45-£49.

Really good if you prefer digital versions of games, unless you're like me and never go above $40 for digital.
