I got N64, then got PS1 when i realized that Nintendo didn't have all the games anymore. N64 was great, but the PS1 was at just as great. I also got a saturn after that, a very very underrated piece of hardware.

I went PC, after which I went Gamecube in 2006. =P

I went with the PS1. I was fairly young (5 or 6) when I got it. I don't think I remember wanting a 64. It was the playstation that got me into gaming. The Final Fantasy games on the PS1 still remain my favourite games today. That was definately a great generation of games. Playstation 1 is still my favourite console.

My older brother came home with a N64 one year. My other brother and me took that over a few years after we acquired it.

I had both, but I preferred the PS1. The N64 games always looked washed out and dull to me, could have been my crappy tv at the time though.

N64. All the way. Never Ps1.

I had a Sega Saturn, N64 and Playstation. I got them in that order too!

My brother and I collectively had both. We played the N64 more in that generation, but then I switched over to the Gamecube and kept playing the PSOne as my secondary console -- never got a PS2.

I stuck with the N64-my brother gave me his and he went to the PS1. I used to have a blast with Super Smash Bros. WCW/NWO, GoldenEye, Mario kart 64 esp Wrestle Maina 2000 and WWF No Mercy me and my brother use to play those them, and one time tried to get Mr McMahon to bleed but it was possible we hit him with everything and he still couldnt bleed..

I got both PS1 and N64 at launch.
