The shocking thing about this thread is not the prediction. But how many seriously considered it.

The Wii to be Nintendo's last Console?!?!

Apparently Nintendo is going handheld only after the Wii.

The thread was an unstoppable machine. The OP got banned. The thread goes on. The thread got more posts than the OP ever had and still goes on. HDDVD dies. The thread goes on. A mod shoots the thread in the neck. Dammit.

I actually thought of that one, but couldn't find it. I thought it was posted by Weezy... but apparently not.

I don't have a link to it but I had a prediction thread on which year Switch (at the time called NX) would release 2016 or 2017 the thread was humourously titled Civil War after the MCU movie with the losing side having to change their avatars to crows but man that thread ended up in an actual forum civil war, at the time late 2016 seemed the more plausible so almost everyone chose 2016 but Nintendo went for March 2017 leading to over a month of mudslinging between members who refused to change their avatars and others, I still remember someone logging in for the first time in months and asking why everyone had crow avatars.
