Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

It wouldn't surprise me if it's a remake of one of the previous games.

That said, if it's a new game, I hope they put more effort in it and manage to beat Sains Row The Third (for me, the best one).

Honestly though, it was the best one. Saints Row IV got boring once you had all the powers and you were pretty much invincible. I never played the second SR so I can't criticise that, but the first one was alright. No Professor Genki's magically appearing in it ): I never finished Gat out of Hell because it was lame when I started playing it. It didn't appeal to me like SR3 did, never kept my interest. I also missed the creativity of making your own character.

If there is a new game, I want more challenges involving Professor Genki, hands down. But I don't think there will be a new game to be honest.

Strangely, you were more invincible in the 3rd game, as you could actually upgrade yourself to being immune to all damage, something you couldn't do in the 4th one. Again, strange since in the 4th you were basically in the Matrix, so should have been able to become invincible. But, yea, while I loved the 4th and GOOH, I want something closer to the 3rd, including being able to pay a shit ton of money to become invincible.

Better be a new game and not some remaster, or old port on Switch.

NEW GAME. I've waited too long for this.

Saints Row 2 improved on every aspect over the first one. And yeah, The Third, with the new and bigger city and still some proper effort in the story and a good variety of missions, cars and weapons, was the best of the series by far.

SR IV was entertaining until you got bored with the superpowers and Gat out of Hell, while still fun to play, suffered from a lack of ideas and an engine that was too old.

Thankfully, it's been a while since the last one, so hopefully they've used it to make a game that surpassed them all.

Y'all are crazy. SR4 was the best. Gameplay was great, best super powered gameplay in any game to date. Zinyak was a contender for best video game villain that year. The comedy was on point. I hope we get a proper SR5 that follows up SR4 with the time travel plotline that was mentioned in the epilogue.

Saints Row + dinosaurs could be epic. :p

Ok, so let's start a poll. Is the result of the teaser going to be Epic exclusive?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

right now is a bad time to be talking about their next project imo, they've just dropped a steaming log on the Switch that needs proper work before they move onto the next project, the port is worse than the x360 era version of it.

I agree the Switch version of Saint's Row 3 is technically disappointing, but that's not crucial for the series.

Their bread and butter is the Xbox, PlayStation and PC audience, the Switch version is just unfortunate. Either way its takes less people handle/fix a port versus the next game in the series.
