Man this game really exposed the lack of a stylus while trying to communicate online. They should have included a stylus with this game.  Maybe I should use a spare 3DS stylus...  I assume it is safe to use with Switch.  Not like I'm going to start rubbing it all around.  Oh shit I just looked it up.  I need some special stylus.  I guess I'll have to order a capacitive stylus some point this week.

I use my phone and the Nintendo Online app. Autocomplete on your phone is a wonderful thing. Also, it has voice chat.

I'd think a USB keyboard should work as well like it does for other games such as Warframe. I'm too lazy deal with friend codes and setting up meet times. Was hoping there would be an equivalent to New Leaf's Island where players join randomly.

Yea random is nice but it also has the best friend feature from New Leaf.  So it automatically sends a message to your best friends when you open the gates.  Along with ability to message them when on different islands. 

I like that you can also send letters with a gift through mail to online friends now also.

I was able to buy a doctor's mask in game. Guess I can be prepared if any of my townspeople get sick.

I believe they retail for 500 bells but I will gladly sell them for 10k bells a piece. Jking
