Forums - Sony Discussion - So i hopefully fixed my only issue with the PS4

As you all may remember in a previous thread somewhere about stuff that grinds your gears, i was talking about storage requirements. I got myself a nice 4TB HD, so i dont have to redownload each time i wanna play a different game. Im also transferring all other games on it in the hope it will effect the sluggishness of the OS. Ill let you know more in 4 hours when its done transferring

Has been this way since day 1, but seeing how they handle the Store im going to toss it in sluggish OS and not faulty hardware

PS Store needs improvements on PS5. I often find myself using the browser based PS Store on my PC due to the one on PS4 being sluggish and crashing a lot. It's awful.

Sony is using Amazon's server infrastructure for their services and as Amazon recently built a new data center in Sweden, I thought that maybe the stability would improve here in Denmark. But it's still bad and I'm hearing a lot of complaints from other countries as well.

I love it, everything fits now without deleting shit, i'm not entirely sure but it does feel faster.
Store is still crap, then again im comparing against loading every other store on pc etc.
I did notice a increase if i dont have a game running

My 3 or 4 Tb HDD have been in use for more than 3 years, like 100 games on it and still have some free space.
But OS I think will only be solved if I put an SSD as the primary.

One tip though, reconstruct the library after you end transferring all data to the HDD and you'll have your primary in better shape and OS working better
