Forums - Sony Discussion - EA Access subscription service coming to PS4

About time Sony wised up on this.

It is a good value if you’re into EA titles. Hell, any time you’re going to buy an EA title that costs $60, you save a dollar by buying a month of EA Access for $5 and then saving $6 on that title with the 10% discount.

except to save a dollar this month, most people will be spending 5 the next month for nothing, and the month after that, and so on until years later when they realize they added a new "rent" to their lives with very little to show for.

it's the same reason why I personally don't like the games pass model of business from Xbox, there's no incentive to make quality games if the customer is already paying a rent for them whether they are good or bad

Sounds like good value to me.

If you are into EA titles, sure.

For me, short of them paying me to use the service, I'll pass.

Well they keep on adding games. I expect people giving it a try because it has plenty of EA games that you maybe want to try. Only issue the PS4 has is no bc, so game like skate 3/ssx /mass effect trilogy/dragon age franchises/Dead space trilogy etc will not be available?

I'd still pass.

I didn't mention the price.

They would need to pay me... everything they've got, including the spot of the CEO, all the shares and impunity for kicking Andrew Wilson out of the company. Literally. Through a top floor window.

Oh yeah that's actually a good point... wonder if they'll cut the games from the service on PS4 or find another way around it

Aside from ME 1, DA 2, you should skip the others in the trilogies, ran like dogshit on the PS3. PC is the way to go for those, or Xbox if that is your only alternative, same with 95% of all multi plat games last gen actually.

Still not interested. EA games in general don't get my attention.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

The only EA titles I like are Battlefield and Apex Legends, so I'll pass on this.

EA Access is a great service. I hope it's successful on the PS4.
