Yeah, farting on the balls is super effective there.

Otherwise, I would have nominated Earthbound. You didn't see or hear farts, but you could smell it in the marketing. And that outweighs everything.

In Space Station Silicon Valley, King Rat uses farts to kill enemies.

Conversely, there's farting in Abe's Oddysee (and I presume Exodus, never played that one), but whether it does anything other than make characters laugh, I don't know.

In Shadow Warrior (1997) Sumo Sky Palace you had to fight giant sumo enemies and one of their attacks was fart napalm LOL unfortunately nobody has uploaded that to youtube :(

Wario's fart had the equivalent force of a nuclear blast in the first trailer for Smash Brothers Brawl. Everyone from Mario to Samus was terrified. I have yet to see anything top that.
