That's good to know, but I'm still not convinced. Maybe I just haven't been paying enough attention, but I can barely recall any 'relevant' new users here from 2017 and newer, whereas from 2012-13 there are plenty of people I can remember, some of which had a considerable impact on the community.

I'm offended.

Don't be.

Your account was made the last week of December 2016, so you're not counted.

But I'm offended, as I came one month after you.

Didn't you have a previous account? Or was that a different Bofferbrauer?

I'm mostly on my tablet these days and VGchartz is one of the worst sites I've come across when it comes to browsing on a tablet. The site takes ages to load and the very last thing that loads is some random video advertisement in the bottom right. This loading last causes the whole page to move and whatever I thought I clicked on becomes something else due to the page movement. At least half of the time I click something on the front page what ends up loading is something completely different.

As is, I only browse here on my PC but that's very seldom these days.

We’ll, the team can start by fixing the experience for iPhone users...
This whole place looks like a coding catastrophy most of the time.

Damn, someone found out!

Yeah, that was my old account, it got lost when there were lenghty problems with logins 2 years ago.

But this account is just from 2017, so technically I fit the mold

No, you don't. Stop cheating.

I can obviously remember you, Alchy, and in my mind you were from 2016. It seems I'm not wrong.

Looking through some users, as hard as it is to filter that, it does seem Marth is from January 2017, so that's something I guess, and hey, I'm sure there are more people I'm forgetting about. But by comparison it was quite easy to think of users from 2012-13.

I guess you think OTB is irrelevant then?

I don't, but... hmm, let's not go there. But I did think he had been around for longer. I never said there are no relevant users from this period, only that there are few, and if anything, it kinda shows here - with you and Bofferbrauer turning up, from late 2016/early 2017, and now OTBWY who is from mid 2017... and so far, no 2018 or 2019 users mentioned at all. It's easy to see that there's been a decline in new users.

I've been on this site before PS3/Wii. I'm not an active poster, but if you want my opinion from outside... since we don't have charts, I enter the site less and less every week. The only reason I see this site it's just because I'm used to it. But without charts I know there will be a day I'll just stop visiting because there's not to much to do for me, besides from reading in 30 seconds the last news.

Having brought about your 17th post in 12 years, I almost feel like I'm doing something right already. But yeah, the sales situation definitely is one of the factors that stops people from being more active, and as has been discussed a little bit here, there's no easy solution to this particular problem. Or well, at least I don't think there is.
