The backstory, and "commitment to a bit" was laudable. The best ever really. The Drill can go get ******. Not even close.

Another reason this site declines? Everybody talks, nobody acts. I'm no better on this measure, of course, as I have ideas for threads that could become ongoing things but never bother to do them, but I'm also crazy busy with work. There's a lot of cynicism and complaining going on in this thread, and demands that site admins fix certain things, but I said it before and I'll say it again, saving this site will take action, from as many of us as possible. People like mZuzek taking the time and devoting the effort to carry on traditions like the Greatest Games thread are what we need more of. If anyone here actually gives a shit about this site, don't knock the people taking real action like that. If you don't have time to put in that kind of effort, that's understandable, but at least do what you can to support the people that do.

Trunks, myself (non-mod stuff), and others also are trying to keep things alive as well. People are acting, it'll just take a little more.

I know you guys do a lot for the site, that was never in question. But the thread is full of a lot of complaints, a handful of suggestions, but not a lot of sign of action, and I was mostly directing that post to those who were complaining loudly but had no other suggestions other than stuff for the mods and admins to do. The mod and admin stuff is super necessary, to be sure, but it'll take more than that, and it's frustrating to see all the voices that want to just lay all the work on the mods and admins. I'd imagine a lot of the mobile site stuff and other coding issues would require a massive amount of work, and for people to just demand all that work without wanting to contribute what they can to the non-mod stuff, it just rubs me the wrong way. I really wish I could devote more time to this place, because it's such a cool little community.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Onionberry was a dude!? Girl gamers are a lie. (>-_-)>

Well, it's something. It will be nice if we can sustain the amount of posts the site has with threads and discussion.

That is a nice little boost. I am part of it as I have been more active on the forums, but doing a monthly thread where I post all the Gap Charts articles. Lets see if we can continue this gain in posts going forward. Any growth no matter how small is keeping things in the right direction.

You have been a huge part of the rebound. Between your gap chart threads and getting the weekly sales threads up so quickly, you have created alot more discussion. Its helped me to post more frequently again. So thank you and keep up the good work.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I kind of think the Greatest Games Thread is helping. That discussion thread is the most active thing I've seen on this site in months.

2020 nearly here along with all the rumours and speculation new consoles bring.

Wars where nobody actually dies are fun if you're not the referee.

It'll be a tough job for mods but for the site to rebound, you're going to have to learn how to ride the wave instead of attempting to stop it.
