Damn I leave for like 6 months (no one gave a fuck lolz) and you still all about that

You can leave for 6 decades and I'll still be all about it bro.

If I'm here 6 decades from now I need to off myself. Like shit can't even imagine being here at age 60.

So you preorder the game cuz you had a 40% discount, cancelled it, just to buy it again later when its discounted again?

You've never lived paycheque to paycheque before, have you? I'd rather have money now than later so I can treat myself when I go see Avengers.

In fact I have. I had to work to pay for college. When I was broke I had no money for games so I only jumped on the 7th gen like the year before 8th arrive.

So if I was in your situation, I would not have preorder a game, especially not one I was not interested in.

How gaming has fallen when 70 or what not is considered bad.

Fallen? Wouldn't it be fallen if games who got like 30 was considered great?

I just hope its not their last game.

Nah, I doubt Sony would close them after just one mishap like this... I mean, surely Sony KNEW it was never gonna' be one of their 90+ games selling 10m+ or something, right? The devs have never had that sort of track record, they're a low 80's dev at best, lol. Not to mention it'd be silly closing a studio just as the next gen begins and competitors have been ramping up, lol.

I guess we'll have to wait for sales, hope it does well in that department.

What ended up happening with the order 1886 devs? I doubt they closed. Wasnt that game successful even with all the heavy criticism? Something tells me this game will sell all wright. I mean, for gods sake knack sold over 2m.

Honestly, since the very first time I saw this game, I thought it looked kinda... Generic.

Was expecting it to be at least above 80 though...

According to Wikipedia, Ready at Dawn only make VR games now lol

Well that sucks, hopefully they have a sequel to the order cooking in the back.

Well i am a bit disappointed with the scores tbh. I was expecting the low 80s so this is a bit worse. Still i have it preordered and am still looking forward to enjoying it.

I expected a mid 85s, but not all brands are successful, I mean Gran Turismo Sport only released in 2017 and that received a 75. Its not the end of the world.

I kinda like it so far. The main protagonist is better than I thought he would be.

Not doing any damage control. Will you deny that 50 on metacritic is reserved to garbage level game?

I didn't complain on the reasons IGN took out the points. Have you read the review?

Or better yet have you played the game to give your opinion since that is what you are demanding?

We have to do comparisons using the context. In the context that average/mediocre games are on the 7, then this game being mediocre would deserve a 7.

But seems like it got a 3/10 will you say that is also deserved?

Stop putting your own Bias on everything, Gamespot 5/10 is rating the game Mediocre by their standard. It's not garbage like you claim.

There only two negatives review on Metacritic out of 79 reviews, it really doesn't matter because there also stupid reviews giving this game score like 96 and 94.

Days gone is actually getting really good reviews. You focus on the numbers way too much what matters is that it got 49 positive reviews out of 79 reviews so far and only two negative reviews.

A garbage game like you claim would have mostly negative reviews.

Which Bias are you talking about?

Metacritic 70 is the mediocre game standard. A reviewer giving it a 5 is on the bad side.

Let's see which potential games worse than what Days Gone seems to be have received better score from them.

BoxBoy!-BoxGirl they gave a 70 (meta of 80)

Falcon Age they gave 80 (meta 74)

Pathway 60 (meta 69)

Heaven's Vault 60 (meta 71)

My time at portia 60 (73)

Labo 70 (meta 70)

Earth Defense Force 60 (69)

Zanki Zero 60 (74)

Walking Dead Season 4 90 (meta 79, not sure how the rinse and repeat of WD still get this high score)

We could go on to show that they give better score to potentially worse games. They gave 6 to Sea of Thieves,

A 50 metascore is reserved for bad games, but a 5/10 in a single review doesn't mean the game is bad, it depends on how each site gives its scores.

sure it doesn't mean the game is bad, but considering other scores they gave 5/10 seems more on the bad side, even if they say that is for mediocre.

You can't say the score the reviewer gave is incompatible with what they wrote, because only the reviewer knows how much each criticism and bad aspect weights in on the enjoyment of the product.

I didn't say they score is incompatible. I said from what they wrote the game itself would have a higher score, which were lost on points the reviewer didn't like in the game.

No, I haven't. And that's why I never said what score I think it deserves. Have you even interpreted what I wrote or are you just saying "no u" because you have no arguments?

I read, and I didn't say the score the game deserved as well. I said, and I repeat again, that from what is written on the review it is a game on the low 80's that lost points due to aspects the reviewer didn't like, and there is nothing wrong with it. For me IGN review is a fair score even if probably when I play the game I would rate it better.
