Why havent they made a Kirby game with the pretty colorful world design, yet with Dark Souls-style bosses.

Why can't they make Chrono Break...

Why haven't they made a good Superman game yet?

I'm not even being sarcastic. I know the answer for the most part...bad history with Superman 64, hard to develop a game for super hero that is basically a god, and the DC extended universe (games and movies) have played second fiddle to Marvel for years now.

But with the right developer (take Insomniac and how they pulled off Spider-Man), we can get a good Supes game. He's already got more interesting abilities. Just make the city as alive as NYC in Spider-Man and make the gameplay more like a Sim-City open world hybrid rather than an adventure open world game.

Basically have the city fall apart in realtime, and how fast you respond to crime and how you prioritize what you respond to dictates how the city reacts to you and how the game events unfold. Maybe have fortress of solitude as a hub.

Just make sure the crimes have enough diversity and they also are designed to make you use of Superman's many powers (freeze breath to stop flow of molten metal, super hearing for hostage situations you don't want to storm into and cause casualties, etc.). And make missions have a point and real context to story like they did in Spider-Man for the most part. Not putting in a bunch of "beat these thugs" up missions just for the sake of artificially extending playtime. Maybe reference the old cartoons (not just WB but the old old cartoons from the 40s) and comics for missions that don't have to do with the main storyline. Foiling mad scientists and fighting dinosaurs. They would be considered filler, but they'd still be more interesting than punching a bad guy or flying through some rings.

Why can't they release Pikmin 4 already? I'd even play the alpha build if that's all they had.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

It's baffling that there's no sequel do Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross yet... Probably the most obvious game that should have already been made.

Why has Nintendo not made a Mario and Luigi game for the Switch or at least announced one, also where id Mario Strikers Switch. The latter would do pretty well in Europe if they market it right.

You may be an intergalactic numbskull who screwed up Ratchet and Clank's adventures, but you have a point there.

Why haven't they made a good 3D Sonic game since Sonic Generations?

All bad PR Insomniac really holds a grudge against me. If Ratchet and Clank where not best buddies with the devs of Insomniac and even somewhat apealing as characters I didn't have to safe the series by being a numbskull in the first place. But how is Nintendo treating you, they basically made you a suïcide terrorist so not much better I figure.

As for Sonic, probably because Sega and pure 3D platformers simply don't really mix.

Nintendo is well known for hating money, so this is a moot point, but...I have a top 10 for this, though it's in no particular order.

Why haven't Nintendo made:
1. A Pokemon open world action RPG that lets you visit every region, catch every Pokemon, get every badge, battle real people all over the world, etc.
2. Their own Kingdom Hearts like game with a protagonist that travels to various Nintendo worlds and fight alongside all the Nintendo characters against a threat to the whole multiverse (Smash Ultimate's World of Light doesn't count)
3. Even one attempt at a WRPG (BotW doesn't count, but serves as proof that there's demand for it)
4. A Nintendo style Mass Effect in the Star Fox Universe
5. A sequel to Eternal Darkness (if they'll make Bayonetta games, then clearly the M rating isn't the issue anymore)
6. A new F-Zero game (it's gotten so bad that indies are making F-Zero clones to meet the obvious demand)
7. More spinoff games featuring less utilized characters from Mario and Zelda to explore new gameplay concepts and expand the lore(an action game where Daisy saves Luigi, a game where Waluigi does weird shit in attempt to become famous like the Mario Bros., a game where Bowser saves the Mushroom Kingdom from an outside threat and you get to run around kicking ass with his brute strength, a stealth action game with Sheik that shows what the Sheikah do for the royal family of Hyrule, an RTS where Zelda leads Hyrule's forces to unite the kingdom, the possibilities are endless and Nintendo explores almost none of them)
8. Crossover fighters besides Smash that would play differently and thus wouldn't compete directly with Smash, like the obvious Nintendo vs. Capcom
9. Use the lore of the aforementioned Nintendo Kingdom Hearts game (whatever they came up with to connect all the Nintendo worlds) as an excuse to extend Mario Kart into a sort of Super Smash Kart (they already have Zelda and Animal Crossing, so they might not need a lore excuse and could just do it if they wanted)
10. Proper sequels to series they've ruined by trying to make it appeal to a broader audience, like a Paper Mario more like TTYD, Wario Land instead of Wario Ware, releasing Pikmin 4 already instead of whatever Hey Pikmin was (we'll probably get this one actually), and a true Chibi-Robo sequel in the spirit of the original game (or just release the Japan only sequel in the West) instead of that platformer bullshit they gave us instead.

There needs to be an open world Dark Souls game.  Take the combat, character development, look and difficulty of a Dark Souls game.  Now put all of that in a huge open world like Breath of the Wild.  Why haven't they made this game yet?
