Forums - Sports Discussion - 2019 NBA Postseason: The Toronto Raptors are NBA Champions!

25 point game with 2:08 to go.
Yep, this one's over.

Well credit where it is due, the Raptors had an actual good game. The Bucks though only had two players show up in any meaningful way. Which is funny, this is game 2 but flipped around. In that game the Raptors had just teo major contributors while the rest struggled to tie their shoelaces vs the bucks who had several people in double digits and I believe three over 15. Here, it's flipped. 3 bucks over ten vs 5 raptors over fifteen.

Good on Toronto for making it a series. Too bad for the NBA that the Warriors are going to wipe the floor with either one of these teams.

Everyone thought the Raptors couldn't win... except the Raptors.
I honestly think they should have let Kawhi rest the entire 4th quarter, they didn't seem to need him at that point.
Now they've made this a series!

Drake is trying to become a modern day Spike Lee with his antics on the sidelines.

The Raptors will beat the Bucks and they will face the Warriors. The Bucks are finished!

I think there is a really good chance that the Bucks vs Raptors series will go seven games.

Game 5 is later tonight back in Milwaukee.

It's a best of 3 now.
Good news for the Bucks: They have home court advantage.
Bad news for the Bucks: The Raptors have the momentum and renewed confidence.

Toronto has done well to get back in this series, but if they want to have a shot at actually winning it, they'll need Kawhi to resemble his regular self for at least one of these road games. The rest of the team might capable of stepping up at home, but on the road, they need their superstar to play like one. If he can't, then Milwaukee's home court advantage will be enough to see them through to the Finals.
