Forums - Sports Discussion - 2019 NBA Postseason: The Toronto Raptors are NBA Champions!

This is the first time the Trail Blazers have advanced to the Western Conference Finals since 2000. A team led by Scottie Pippen, Rasheed Wallace, and Arvydas Sabonis. They went on to lose in 7 games to the Lakers with Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, who went on to win their 1st of 3 straight NBA Championships: The last time a team has ever 3-peated.

Kawhi Leonard - The Most Clutch Player in the game today.

With the Bucks/Raptors match up, due to having the 2 best records in the league during the regular season, whoever wins that series will have home court advantage in the NBA Finals.

Shouldnt you be saying kawhi "motherfuckiht" leonard? Or is it just for steph curry when hes having a good game?

See cycycychris' post above.

Kevin Durant is out for Game 1 of the Conference Finals; May be out for Game 2 as well.

NBA Draft Lottery coming up before Game 1.
Will the Knicks finally catch a break?

And the Pelicans get the #1 pick.

Dos God hate the Knicks or something like that?

Based on how the announcers are describing Durant's injury, it sounds more like a Grade II Calf Strain than a Grade I. If that were the case, then even if the Warriors make it back to the Finals, K.D. wouldn't be back until mid way through the Finals.

And so the burning question:  can Curry finally get a finals mvp?
