Damn, RIP Metroid, guess the delay really killed off the hype right now...

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

That was me who voted for Wolfenstein:Youngblood as the top choice, and it was for the PS4 version. My faith in the process is shattered!

Thanks for fixing so quickly. :)

Glad to see I'm not the only one voting for Hollow Knight anymore.

Great to see Doom Eternal for Switch in the top 10, but I am baffled by why Fire Emblem is rated so high, maybe I just don't "get it" but everything they've shown of it so far looks painfully lackluster to me.

Different tastes, I guess. For instance, I find that graphical style of Link's awakening so hideous it kills all hype for me, and I can't get behind playing a shooter on a console after being used to mouse+Keyboard for 20+ years now (with Splatoon and it's motion aiming being an exception as this replicates mouse+keyboard much better than just a thumbstick).

Also, I'm sure Nintendo couldn't show too much more of the game without spoiling plot points, and what's left they keep it for E3.

Didn't they patch in gyro controls into Doom? I don't see why Doom Eternal wouldn't have them as well.

Quite possible - but Doom and Wolfenstein (whom I think also got gyro controls iirc) have been part of my childhood on PC and thus stay on PC for me. But I agree that I would possibly play them on the Switch otherwise.

Ghost of Tsushima ahead of TLOU2 is a pleasant surprise.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Thanks for your, as always, great work, axum.

It's funny how Metroid was in the top spot without knowing anything about it except for a teaser that showed nothing, and now that it has changed developer to the studio that successfully managed to bring it into the 3D world, it has completely disappeared from the chart. It's funny, and a bit sad, how volatile people really are.

It also surprises me to see the Switch version of Doom Eternal being the most voted one, as there are more FPS players on the other platforms and Eternal is a different game than most.

Anyway, congrats to Nintendo for managing to get the most points and games.
