Some of the best awards in gaming for me is finishing them and hearing a special soundtrack made specially for the ending of the game. Normally running through the credits. It makes you remember the game and adds the icing on the cake in what would have been a great journey. Below are some examples of some of the best ending themes.

SPOILER: For those who haven't actually finished these games, I recommend play them to the end to get the full experience of the emotional attachments these songs bring.

The instrumental version of Megaman Zero 4 is incredible, with a lot of heart and melancholy put into it. Then the japanese re-release decided to add it lyrics, and it works much worse. At least there are still versions of the game with the original arrangement.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
