No, who is Trump referring to in his tweets?

oh you think he's talking about the white progressive congresswomen "from countries" with corrupt and inept governments? How about this, I think I'm making a pretty reasonable conclusion that these statements are part of an ongoing disagreement between the president and newly appointed progressive congresswomen like AOC and Ilhan Omar (both of whom were born in America and are "from" here), why don't you tell me who he could possibly be talking about where these statements wouldn't be xenophobic and we can start making some arguments about who the tweets most reasonably apply to. 

I'm not the type to speculate so extremely. I have no idea who “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen are.

Well thank goodness Trump is just smart enough to leave well meaning centrists an out when he makes dumb-as-shit, racist, xenophobic tweets. 

Still not seeing how it was racist. And hey, those centrists are an okay bunch!

We'll stick with dumb-as-shit and xenophobic then. I don't feel like trying to convince you that it's racist to tell brown congresswomen to go back to their own countries when xenophobic is easier and requires less groundwork laying. 

I find centrists to be useful idiots for dog-whistling bigots because they will bend over backwards to give bigots every benefit of the doubt possible. Doesn't take bigots much to figure out how to manipulate that tendency to their benefit. That's why you get people at the Unite the Right rally being so excited to see David Duke saying "I disavow" in a snide and obviously facetious way. Just because those dumbasses couldn't hide their power level correctly doesn't mean the only racists are people with swastika tattoos.

He also asked those same congresswomen to return at some point: "then come back and show us how....

You're right, they have permission to come back to the US after they help fix the countries they're "from". Well thank god, nvm then. Remember that thing about Trump being smart enough to leave centrists enough wiggle room that they can make excuses for him when he says shit that is dumb and xenophobic? I mean for fuck's sake, this is why the guy thinks he could shoot someone in central park and wouldn't lose support, because people make excuses for him like he's a toddler. 

In Trump's world who exactly is "from here"? Because most of these progressive congresswomen were born here and are as much "from here" as Trump himself. 

They are still expanding their footprint (and adding jobs) in New York though (as the article says), just without the massive tax break neither party needs.

The tweets are pretty bad and I can see how it can be construed as racism but I think it has more to do with Trump being intolerant to progressive ideas.
