An investigation is currently ongoing by the FBI and state law enforcement. It's a bit too early to be talking about what they got in the past tense.

What's worse is that, had Goerge Floyd been a white man, the officers involved in his death would've been locked up.

How much longer is America gonna run on this double standard in favor of white people?

Again, they very well may still be locked up. When something happens like this involving an officer in the line of duty, they investigate and if they decide that charges are warranted, charges are pressed. This literally happened three days ago. There has not yet been enough time to complete an investigation and even begin to formulate a decision on whether charges will be pressed.

I understand your anger, just be sure that you are directing it at the right place.

What happened to George Floyd was unacceptable and I hope those fuckers get locked up. They are a disgrace to the uniform and had no business being a cop.

Cops hardly get charged and rarely get convicted here in US.  There are many protections for them to avoid any punishment.   I don't think any cops were found guilty in beating of Rodney King and that was pretty bad.  This time though the one that held his knee in back of neck for about 8 mins might get charged.

You are right though that too early but one would think within a week or so charges would be filed.  There should be a ton of video but it seems pretty obvious that they shouldn't have held him down like that for so long when he was barely resisting.  Have seen footage when they brought him out of vehicle which he seemed cooperative while they handcuffed him and then footage of him laying on ground.   They haven't showed any footage of when it all escalated but still no excuse for what happened to him.  All this over a counterfeit 20 dollar bill which he might not have even known was fake.

So a guy just got stabbed to death in the riots, are they gonna riot over themselves now for doing that and burning all the affordable housing down is achieving great things!!
The protest has been hijacked and it's now a joke.

Had George Floyd been a white man, his death would be getting very little press or attention, if any. I doubt Lebron James or Colin Kaepernick would give two flying shits about him.

Hey! If you can run on baseless speculation, why can't I?

Except we know that it would if it was video'd because the last tapped murder was news for a while

Regardless of your speculation, all police brutality should trigger a call for justice

Ordinary criminals get thrown in jail without a second thought. There is no value in protesting that, police officers however abuse their power and receive no repercussions. That requires effort to change. Imagine how bad things would been prior to video recordings and social media.

Just watched the George Floyd video. Surely this disgrace of a police officer will go to jail for this. It doesn't matter how much the man was resisting arrest (if he even was I don't know), once he is subdued and on handcuffs you need to calm down the situation. It's never personal and suspects aren't your enemy and your ego shouldn't affect your duty. I also think even US cops are trained NOT TO go for neck/throat unless it's a life and death situation. Hell, even common sense is enough to know it might kill a person. So I don't see any excuse for what that officer did.. it looked like he was torturing the man just for the sake of it.

I hope this is not common behaviour for US cops.

So did this victim of police brutality get spoken for by Lebron James or Colin Kaepernick? Were there protests and riots following this killing?

The reported stabbing was a gun shot victim.  There is no induction it was in direct relation to the riots or not.  Only that it was near.

Also, the fires were of businesses, not their housing.

But there was a stabbing last night.  The stabbing suspect is a white woman who was pretending to be disabled in a wheelchair who went on to stab the rioters. But only the black ones.  She didn't stab any of the white rioters, who were also there...in fact, it was a white guy that blasted her with the fire extinguisher when she was wielding the knife.

You just attempted to denounce the validity of the reaction of the black community in Minneapolis over the murder of George Floyd on the grounds that someone got stabbed. You also alluded to only rioters as being the ones who stabbed someone. Good job for getting absolutely everything wrong though.

I think I've found the twitter thread on this...

"But only the black ones.  She didn't stab any of the white rioters"

Looks to me like she spared plenty black participants too...

Before I answer that question, what exact point are you trying to establish by asking it?
