It's not about letting criminals roam free. All she wan'ts to do is make sure those who have been unfairly targeted by mass incarceration get represented. I'd hope we can both agree that if someone gets locked up for something they didnt do or locked up for a ridiculous amount of years because their race or their economic class then they deserve to be represented better and the policies that caused that to happen should be changed.
These people are registered voters and voted in an election. Yeah they forgot to fill out a stupid affidavit but not counting their votes is un democratic.
