Release dates for Blood and Truth, Everybody's Golf VR, and Vacation Simulator.

Best trailer so far for Days Gone.

Concrete Genie for the Fall.

I was very pleased with the conetent on hand. I am going to be spending a lot of time with PSVR over the next few months, with all the great experiences lined up.

Personally, I would have perfered to have a person introducing stuff, with creators talking about their titles like we see from Microsoft and Nintendo. I didn't really feel like any love went into making this. Just makes Sony look totally disconnected from their users too me.

I was hoping we would hear something about at least one of the big three, but I can understand they want Days Gone to have the spot light at the moment. At this point I am starting to feel like I will just hold off on playing GoT, TLOUPII, and DS until PS5 arrives. Why waste my time playing in 1440p/30, when within a few months I will be able to play at 4K/60. Thats's just my feelings.

I agree with virtually everything you said. I was pretty disappointed and surprised about how short it was, but I’m hyped about all the upcoming VR games, esp Blood and Truth. Days Gone trailer was definitely the best one yet and was surprisingly good. And Concrete Genie continues to look really good.

please, do tell how so.

I'd love to, but I don't have to explain myself to you.

Well it's s hot take with zero substance so I didn't expect you to be able to explain

The reactions are what you expect, drivel. That only means that this State of Play was successful.

Pointless to ask, too. Wasting both of our times.

Labo has never been in a Nintendo Direct, they have all had their own seperate announcement.

Did they?  what i know they shows Labo on Nindy Direct last year. And many fans are disappointed.

Nope, the initial announcement for Kit 1 & 2 was a 7 minute video dedicated to Labo and before it released they said, "tune in for a new product for kids and kids at heart" or something like that. Kit 3 was randomly announced with a YouTube video and Kit 4 was announced through a press release and a video uploaded to YouTube a few days later.

None of them were included in a Direct.

People fell for the same thing that Nintendo fans do before directs, over hype themselves for something. I thought it was fine, lots of stuff I want or am interested in. People need to realize this isnt the one and only one that's ever coming, your ''big'' state of plays will happen, not everything is gonna cater and wow you. Hell I can't even remember how many times I've been personally disappointed with a ND xD

While I am only speaking for myself, I didnt hype myself up one bit, and I was still massively dissapointed.I dont think anyone here expected something big out of this, especially with Sony skipping E3, and even then we got dissapointed.Hell, even insiders in resetera said to not expect much out of this and people still got dissapointed.

I dont understand why people are trying to "make sense" out of this.It was a bad Sony "direct", and thats simply it.Its the same when Nintendo has a bad Direct. Its just a bad direct, and nothing more.

Where did they make that clear at?

Seemed fairly obvious to me considering all the signs of Sony dropping their EU conferences and PSX last year,  and doing E3 this year. Also, there are multiple of these for the year.

Did someone honestly think this was a good way go start a new program that is supposed to replace some of Sony's biggest conferences?
That was a massive letdown, pretty bad way to kick off this new model Sony, really bad.

Who said it was a replacement? It's just an alternative and expecting it to be more than that right now is pretty absurd.

They said.

They did not have PSX and will not have E3 and the reason for that was they were looking for new ways to interact with their costumers, which was this, and this was horrible.

They are literally skipping two major conferences to present us their updates in this new format, and the very first one already felt useless, why would I want to watch this kind of borefest and not an actually good presented video/trailer of any of those games?

Want to update me on PS stuff at least save it for when you have big updates to show, as big games release date, announcements, sales milestones, product pricedrops, damn even if they used that to announce PSN discounts it would make more sense then just that.

Was'nt bad but could have been better .
Guess they only wanted to focus on titles coming in the next 2 to 3 months.

Sure, but in reference to E3 being cancelled.

The format of trailer after trailer is pretty much what Sony has turned their conferences into. Ppl on forums complained having ppl come on stage and talking. Maybe it was a reaction, maybe it wasnt. But here we go: just games at a steady pace.

As for the lack of a big announcement, I am not sure what to tell you buddy except that you let your own expectations of 'LoD incoming?' get the best of you. PSX2018 was cancelled because they didnt have enough content for them to have a conference. You think that less than 4 months later they magically have big announcements to make on a streaming show they haven't utilised for quite some time? Get real.

They show can improve. There are definitely issues with it that can be sorted out quite easily going forward.

And no, your suggestion of PSN discounts doesn't make much sense since its pretty obvious that playstation owners engage with that news in a high enough capacity as it is already presented: PS blog and the PS store.
