Hm...as much as I love Souls, this one does nothing for me so far. Sure, it's not Souls, but core principle of try/die is the same. I'll push on for few more days I guess, and see if it sparks anything.

Its really not a souls game maybe that's the problem.  I believe you should totally dismiss what you have learned, experienced and view from souls or bloodborne and play this game with a more open mine.  You may still not like it but at least you are not carrying over the souls formula believing this game is the same or even plays anything like it.

I got the Demon of hatred to less than 5% of his last DB when I ran out of healing items and dousing agent got a burn status and could not get a hit in before I fell from the fire, then I look at my inventory to sort things for the next round and I have MINISTRY DOUSING POWDER, 22 minutes on the stopwatch for that fucking run of nothing but attrition based hit and run combat.

My patience and sanity are on a razor thin knife edge right now between this and the Owl part 2s second phase. I'm telling ya, like I said before they went 10-15 percent too hard on the difficulty here and their QA testers need a slap on the ass cheeks for letting some of these bosses through with the shear amount of health and posture.

Didn't you beat the game already? Are you now trying to find every last hidden, yet impossible boss, for the best ending?

Ah Jesus Fries, after 1hr of retrying, finally beat the basterd, this one I beat faster than Genichiro but dang my adrenaline rush can't compare, this was the most exhilarating boss fight yet compared to any in the game.

I'm just trying to follow the path I've choosen, I don't want to get spoilerish but I couldn finish the game now but it's not the decision I want to make for the story, I spent to much time clearing every inch of the map, returning to NPC's and doing side quests to give up on the path I'm on although I am getting a strong hint that I amn't supposed to be able to go this path on my first play through yet if that is the case why the fuck would they leave it open to me. I might give In and bitch out for the final boss I can go for now or I might even just put the game down cause it's causing way to much fucking physical stress.

I want the story to end on my terms and what I think should happen in the world, not on what the developers have set out for my first run through.

You said you had the Demon of Hatred boss to within 5% of his last deathblow? Right? So you almost got him. And if he's the final boss you're almost there! Keep going!

Dang! The final boss is gonna be tiring, already died three times, and it has four life pools, though the first half is quite easy, but the second he's going all out with different weapons jeez. I'm too tired from the...

Spoiler!
scul-- I mean

Hatred Demon, I'll try this again later in a couple of hours.

And there you go, finally beat the game after 45hrs 29mins. I feel like this one is my fave among the FromSoft soulsborne games, just because of the diversity of the combat in this, it just beat out Bloodborne as my fave. I thought nothing can be harder than Ludwig and Orphan of Kos but alas, Genichiro, Demon of Hatred and the Final Boss just proved me wrong, and I haven't even beaten some of the Mini-Bosses.

Demon of Hatred = Dead

What a pain in the ass, although I did beat him in under an hour.

Sekiro is an amazing Game, and right now is my Goty. The Last of Us Part II can still come out in Q4 2019, so I need to wait for the final verdict.
