Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Cadence of Hyrule announced for Switch (Official indie developed Zelda spinoff)

For a moment I thought the trailer was going to be showing the Crypt of the NecroDance protagonist getting into Smash.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Does it really only move like this with "only broken jumps" ?

OK, PEOPLE! What era of Zelda is this? I initially got a Link to the Past vibe by the art style. Any opinions?

I don't care what you tell me, this WILL fit into the Zelda timeline! If Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam is in the same worlds as both those games (and now, actually, they share the same world), then anything is possible!

Looks cute

it's a rythm game, think of every beat as a "turn"

Music from the trailer is a version of Tal Tal Heights from Link's Awakening at least, but i am getting a lot of Minish Cap vibes

Always wanted to try Crypt of the Necrodancer. This looks like the definitive version to me. Just like Hyrule Warriors is the best way to play Dynasty Warriors.

April Fool's is two weeks away, mate. I'm going back to bed and when I wake up this will all have been a--oh. OH.

I must have this.

Looks interesting.

B-bu-but I was told that Nintendo’s stingy with their IPs

#NotMyZelda

I think Mario+rabbids put an end to that.
