Forums - Gaming Discussion - Konami 50th Anniversary Arcade Classics, Castlevania, and Contra collections announced for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC

I wish these announcements would be accompanied by a price point. It's really hard to get hyped until you know how much you'll be shelling out for each. I'm guessing $19.99, which isn't terribly, but at $9.99 or $14.99 it'd be very enticing. Just our luck, though, and they'll want $29.99 or $39.99 for each, especially given that several titles for each collection are still "coming soon."

Give me that Contra Anniversary Collection. I will also take the one from Castlevania with pleasure.

The arcade classics has a $19.99 price point, so I guess that's gonna be what they cost. However, since the other don't have a price yet, that can still change for them.

Also, why no physical version of those? I'm sure many would love to buy these physically.

Ooooooh, this is perfect timing since there was just a thread a few days ago about which biggest franchises you haven't played and it made me think about how Castlevania is one of those for me due to how hard it is to find where to start the originals without going to an older system usually

will gladly buy on Steam eventually, excited to finally try it

Really disappointed with the Arcade Classics and that they are digital only. Im still getting the Castlevania and Contra ones though.

Contra collection intrigues me but whats with the ''4 mystery'' titles labeled with it.

The Arcade Collections seems... underwhelming, to be honest. I have high hopes for the Castlevania and Contra ones, though, if only for the fact I could see the GBA-DS titles popping up there. I really want to get Order of Ecclesia on the Switch...
