Bernie is such an unusual politician

That's awesome! Not part of any campaign per se although I have donated to Gabbard. I've also received a text message apparently from someone in her Illinois campaign wanting me to be a Tulsi delegate of Illinois. Don't know how legit that is (if its standard procedure for her doners) or what precisely it entails but I politely declined - as going out and attending events, going door to door and getting signatures, etc isn't exactly my style, being the shy, reserved person I am (in real life at least ha). I'd rather just support her from the sidelines - by which I mean sit on my ass and play the nerdy keyboard warrior role and occasionally toss in a donation while not actually achieving anything XD. |
Thank you, and don't bring yourself down! Although I don't support Tulsi, it's good that you're at least somewhat politically aware and passionate for her and her campaign. Putting yourself and your opinions out there, even on the internet, can be difficult for some and I'm glad I've got to hear you champion for her. It gave me some more insight on how Tulsi supporters feel and view the political landscape and the issues that matter most to them. As I don't run into Tulsi supporters too often irl it's nice getting a sense of where y'all are coming from.
@Moren One of the big reasons why you come out so strongly against trump is how he goes after the media right? And I'm pretty sure I responded by telling you that a good portion of what Trump says lands because it happens to be true (though the reasoning when it comes to trump is that if its negative against him its wrong). I've posted one before here but this one shows even more. This is why Mainstream media is the corporate Media and this is why Bernie supporters, hell its not even just us, a lot of americans don't trust the media and here's just an example of why.

This is also why I don't put stock into polls, David Sirota Explains it better than I could and with stats behind it.

538 has started their polling average for the primaries. This uincludes national polls as well all states which have enough quality polls to work statistically with them. In this article they explain the methodology. They will also start a forecast model soon (which is fed by this averages).
On all likehood, it'll be the last debate for Yang, Klobuchar and Steyer, which means we should head for the last pre-Iowa debates with four candidates.
Except if, God help us all, Bloomberg makes it. He certainly is looking more likely to than the others I've mentioned, given his averages.
Bernie, Warren and Yang just announced that they would be skipping the debate
Both @BernieSanders & @ewarren said they're boycotting next week's debate bc they won't cross @UnitedHere11's picket line. The union represents food service workers on LMU's campus, who are in a contract dispute with Sodexo. Some recent @LALoyolan coverage https://t.co/8L7plSKPCH

I won’t cross the @UniteHere11 picket line to attend next week’s debate. We must live our values and there is nothing more core to the Democratic Party than the fight for working people. I support @UniteHere11 in their fight for the compensation and benefits they deserve.

Well.. looks like the centrists will be battling it out this debate. Sounds boring...
Nevermind. All of the qualifying candidates are skipping it if the issue isn't resolved before next week's debate.
