I was wondering how old you were that you would say something that nuts. Then I checked your profile. Sure enough, you're in your 20s, but damn, the thread's biggest Biden supporter is not even American. Why do you want another country to have a centrist so badly? The polls show that Biden isn't the only one who can beat Trump, so that can't be your reason for supporting him, so you must actually be a neoliberal. A neoliberal in freaking Brazil.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa. I take offense to this. I'm the thread's biggest Biden supporter.

Regardless, it's a pretty cheap thing to go after him personally. For all you know, he emigrated.

To be clear, people from other countries are welcome to participate in the thread. We have quite a few of them here actually, and they're all quite outspoken and contribute a lot to the discussion. I just found it really ironic, because he's previously said he mostly just wants to beat Trump, but that narrative is weakening, so I figured he must be a Brazilian neoliberal, but neoliberals in Brazil are...not in the best place now. They're the establishment, they're notoriously corrupt, and the people's frustration with them has now led Brazil to be run by their own wannabe dictator, and as far as I'm concerned, he's worse than Trump. The parallels to US politics are interesting, and seeing what I would guess to be an average neoliberal voter advocating for a candidate in the US like their failed candidates in Brazil, I just find it ironic. Unlike the US, Brazil's Trump won in a landslide. Their people are that frustrated.

I legit don't understand why Tulsi would get a following.

Sanders is also anti-war, and emphasizes going after the Arms and Defense industry, and spending the money in America instead.

Unlike Gabbard, he has ethics, and morals, and compassion, and doesn't repeat talking politics points from RT.

If Tulsi stood a chance at beating Bernie you can bet they'd throw out "ESTABLISHMENT PICK".

Nope, we would not. Tulsi does stand a chance to beat bernie and she has a following because she stood up for bernie last time as well as she does what he doesn't. She calls out the establishment in a "dgaf" way. She says 2016 was rigged while bernie pretends it wasn't or just waffles around it. She calls out why they're going to war, and she calls out "allies" like saudi and isreal. She's got an election integrity bill and most importantly, she's the only presidential candidate who didn't fall for Russia Gate in anyway. She's not my #1, and the fact is she gets even more fight down than bernie gets from the establishment.

Also, its easy to see the establishment pick. They get wall to wall positive coverage from corporate media. They switched around from beto, to Kamala, to Biden and now its Warren.

Okay, last one for tonight. Bernie got a million individual donors. As in, 1 MILLION separate people donated to his campaign. That's more than Trump, and he only has maybe a quarter of the Democratic voters behind him, to Trump's having essentially 100% of the Republican voters. He's the only candidate to reach this milestone in 2020, and he reached it faster than he did in 2015 when it was just him and Clinton.

I legit don't understand why Biden would get a following. But he does. So I just have to accept, that people have different priorities and different views on the available information.

Well, in Brazil Temer and Jato did everything to bring down Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff. In the end nobody looked acceptable anymore.

Why Warren > Bernie by her supporters with Mike's Commentary. Just pay attention to the "policy" stated vs those who are mimicking Media talking points about electability or those who are simply saying "its a woman's time".

Oh god...that means he's back to working for NY full-time.

first of the 3 in the B-Team to drop out with Blasio, I now wait for Bennet and Bullock. Sestak, Ryan and Messam will also probably drop out soon.

Well, in the beginnign Mike is saying what the polls confirm: that Warren and Sanders actually have quite a different base. And the second part matches an analysis I read on 538 some time ago, that Warren and Harris have a lot of overlap in the voter base, and so do Biden and Sanders. This all means: the best chance to take down Biden is the team Sanders+Warren. They each cover different bases and together they can hinder Biden to get a majority at the convention. I strongly believe they will put together their electors, if they can get a majority this way. Warren and Sanders supporters shouldn't attack each other, as they don't actually steal voters from each other. Instead they should focus on taking down Biden as a team.

I get that, but again it comes down to trust. Warren is running around with elites and having meetings with clinton and is open to big donors in the general. Regardless of Biden being the bigger threat right now, and I'm positive he'll fall off, she's still a threat imo. I do not see her fighting for the policies that bernie would and her record also points to that. That's where it stands for me. I personally can't wrap my mind around how someone goes for the middle ground in warren without the media's hate boner for bernie being a cause such as blaming him for hillary's loss, or the lie about 2016 being super divisive when Obama v Hillary was way worse! ID Politics and not being as far to the left I get, but one of those reasons imo is stupid and the other is ideology . Like Mike Put it, she's not clinton but she's not bernie and she's just not trust worthy to me. That's why I'm not for a team up because I'm about 90% sure she'll stab bernie in the back. 2016 is all the evidence I need for that.
