Statement from an Australian senator...

Senator Anning, assuming this is real, complains about cliched nonsense while providing cliched nonsense.

This really is aweful and a shock to everyone here. I had a relative who was in one of the mosques when the shooting started. He was near the front and managed to run away when the shooting started (the shooting started at the back). As part of the muslim community here in NZ, we are still trying to come to grasp with this tragedy.

Gun controls in NZ are clearly not working...

Don't give me this rubbish, NZ is generally a peaceful country and i love the fact guns are hard to obtain. This is the first mass shooting here was 22 years ago.

Frankly i DO have queation about the gun registration systwm in NZ which I feel is lacking. However gun control in NZ is much better than in many other counteies nd the primary use is hunting.

In the case of this shooting, i understand the gun to have been a semi automatic and NOT automatic albeit with illegal clips. With an automatic gun things could have been even worse. So gun control did work to some extent.

NZ is now looking into banning semi automatic rifles.
They are working fast.
They probably don't have a horrible organistation like the NRA over there, atleast not as fanatic.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

That's terrible. It's a shame that there are shatefeul sickos like this out in the world.

Btw does anyone know what caused the terroist to shot the mosque?

His manifesto suggests it was borne from growing hatred for Muslims and the rhetoric from Donald Trump, Candace Owens and others.  He felt that not enough direct action was being taken to destroy Islam so he took it upon himself to do it in his local community.

I'm not too fond of the Islam faith but to go out of your way to kill innocent people because they are practising something you don't agree with is just crazy.

Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi Rajiun, ( Verily, we belong to Allah, and it is to Him that we are destined to return )

Allah is the greatest X3

, All life and dead has been decided by Allah before the universe is created and Allah choose the best day for them to return to the Almighty , Friday is the best day for Muslim. I hope they die as a people of Jannah (heaven/paradise)

People who go to Mosque for praying especially for Friday praying to full fill their God calling got a reward are equal to Jihad (dying as martyr to defend their life and religion ) and if they are die in the process they die as martyr

I am praying that all the muslim , my brother my sister my nephew and all my muslim brothers in New Zealand to rest in peace, to enter Jannah without any judgment , may Allah bless them, reward them with the greatest reward and greatest Paradise.

(2:157) Upon them will be the blessings and mercy of their Lord, and it is they who are rightly guided.

This is depressing, especially in somewhere that has been through so much trauma already as Christchurch. My thoughts are with New Zealand, hopefully this kills any talk of weakening Australia's gun laws and gets the ball rolling on theirs being tightened.

seeing people being happy about it and celebrating it is sickening! I can't believe those kinds of people exist! :(
