DS also was pirated way sooner and way easier than PSP yet it still sold much more, both hardware and software, wonder why? "Maybe it had many games and the total software sales are better than individual sales" well, not sure about "too many" PSP have over 1000 games only, DS have over 2000 games. Only 4 games on psp (82 million owner) that even sold over 4 million which have two Monster Hunter games and two GTA games. GBA have 7 games that sold over 4 million despite a bit smaller user base (over 81,5 million owner) and way smaller life time compared to psp life time

I was arguing with with a guy who said Sony didn't have the ips to support a handheld. So I don't know what your point was in replying that to me since my entire argument was based on what you just said. TemeReme 3rd part Japanese supported the vita a lot as well so where was the support lacking? Sony of course
