Sorry to hear OP. Not all system is for everyone.

And my feelings @potato_hamster

Funny to see so many defensive posts or need to say another platform is less used by someone as if he was attacking the system instead of just saying why he is using it less than he want.

Those are the breaks man. I've come to expect the kind of response every time I have something less than the utmost enthusiasm towards hardware with diehard followers (Note: I'm not singling out Nintendo fans or Switch fans).  I'm not saying that it occurred in this instance, or that any user had any ill intent, but I find it quite common there will always seems to be someone that seems to be checking in some way if my experience is genuine, or if I'm "doing it right".

To all the happy Switch owners out there -  If you love your Switches and are getting the most out of them, I think that's great. If you love your current games library and keep going back to titles I've tired of, that's great too. If you're super excited about Mario Maker 2 or Pokemon Sword/Shield, that's awesome, and I'm happy for you. If have any desire whatsoever to buy games that are just appearing on Nintendo consoles for the first time, or purchasing updated games you enjoyed on your 3DS or Wii U, have fun. Keep playing games and enjoying them.

fifa is much better on switch than vita, and it is getting assassins creed and hellblade. But yeah there isnt that much variety atm. it will come though this year after May onwards is rammed

Not sure if you meant to quote me but I have plenty to play on my Switch, probably about 40 games or so and dozens that I dont own but am interested in.

I totally get a lot of that if you never owned a PSP or a Vita. Even more if you never owned a PS3/Xbox 360 or a PS4/Xbox One. (I can't remember and to be honest, can't be bothered to check).

I just really, really don't see nearly that many for me.

That is forum for you.

Switch is a great system, but not for everyone, so it's natural some people will see less value than others.

Are you recovered from the situation you described on the first post?

The switch has been totally ruined for me.
1st year I played and beat Zelda and Super Mario Odyssey and had a great time playing it. I had about 100 hours on the switch with these 2 games. Then the great game drought of 2018 came and I didnt turn on my switch between from January 2018 to October of 2018.  Then Super Mario party came out. I go to turn it on and nothing. Tried everything online and couldnt get it to charge or turn on. I sent it to Nintendo, paid $110 to have it fixed. When I get my switch back I lost all my save data, so I will never go back to try and get the few remaining moons in mario odyssey or more shrines in zelda because I would have to start from scratch. I finally fire up Super Mario Party and there are only 4 maps and none of them are fun to me and I don't like the Ally system, so the game doesn't have any replay value for me. My experience with the switch has been very disappointing. I fire up my xbox one all the time for a game of halo (only game I have on xbox one) or to watch netflix.

tldr switch has no replay value for me.

That is something very displeasant to happen =[

Let's not derail this thread. My own personal matters aren't the subject of the thread. Please feel free to PM me though.

For sure, I just said that because the person who quoted me was saying the Switch situation is about to improve, I think he meant to quote you though since his response didnt have much to do with what I said.

Where are all these defensive posts you are talking about?

I barely play any system now except PC. My games in Crusader Kings 2 just last too long. I am happy that it is now my highest played game in Steam with 190 hours, and I finally got decent at the game.

Tetris 99 is keeping me busy until other big titles arrive (Caligula Effect comes out this week). It's a blast, it's the best thing that has come out of the Nintendo online. Now if only I could actually win one match...

Its ok. I didn't win a single match until level 41.
