"Hey Community! Sadly we have to announce you that Ubisoft will not allow digital third party stores, such as Gamesplanet, to sell Division 2 after its release on March 15th 2019. After this date, the game will digitally only be available through Ubisoft's Store and another exclusive digital store. This will also be true for all upcoming game content such as Season Pass, Extensions, etc. Take the opportunity to buy at Gamesplanet until March 15th 2019 and make use of the paysafecard promotion as this will be available until the game will be pulled from our stores. We won't be able to solve some support requests (e.g. key activated on the wrong Ubisoft account) after March 15th, as we won't have any more keys to exchange/swap. Please address your support requests to Ubisoft directly for such cases. Worry not, all purchases that have been completed on Gamesplanet will be honoured. This is also true for gifts, no matter if these have been picked up or not. Obviously, we are not happy about this decision. The Gamesplanet Team"

Big move this for epic and risky move for Ubisoft. Between uPlay and Epic I'm sure sales will be good. If all Ubi sales going forward are on just these two it will be interesting to see how things pan out.

Ubisoft fucking up big time with this. The Division 2 is doing so many things right, but this can really hurt them on the PC. Stupid move that will cause bad press for a game they clearly invested a lot in and put so much into

"competition"

Just as well I was never into TD, so it's a non buy from me anyway. Either way, it isn't competition, it's giving the consumer less options and less deals to find either.

Time will tell. I expect sales to be down on the first but by how much. The game is looking exceptional so I hope it sells well between consoles and the two pc stores.

So people refuse to buy off Uplay? Sad individuals.

Refusing to buy off uPlay is really shooting yourself in the foot especially if you won't consider Epic's store. So many good games no longer available to you.

I've bought a ton of their games this gen on ps4 but even there you have a uPlay account and earn uPlay awards. Personally I like uPlay.

I can't see how this will end well for Ubisoft.
