....my son has been asking for a labo kit and a vr headset. He'll no doubt be wanting this if he hears about it

I see, instead on investing on more IP's, they decided to keep pushing with this cardboard nonsense........

So you have proof that money they were going to use on investing in more IPs as redirected for this project instead?  Or are you just mad and want to come up with something to bash them for?

No I don't have proof, but obviously if you're going to spend money on one thing, you'll have less for other projects. And of course I'm bashing them for it, Labo was a cute little project that flopped, it has little value (unless you like paying $100 for some cardboard and mini-games).

Yikes, people are pretty pissed about this apparently. I thought this sounded like the coolest Labo yet, personally. I mean I probably won't get it, but it's definitely the coolest one so far. It's also proof that Nintendo is thinking about VR, which is cool. I'll bet the Switch successor deliberately tries to incorporate some kind of VR function as a switchable form function somehow to create an affordable way to get a decent VR headset built into a mainstream console.

They literally opened E3 2018 with a new IP, revived Marvel Ultimate Alliance at the game awards, and announced another new IP last month.  Nintendo is invested heavily in a wide range of IPs stretching across numerous genres.  So I don't know what you are talking about.

Edit: I also forgot Town announced last year.  They have 12 exclusives launching at retail this year.  9 or 10 of them in a seven month span.

Looks at the blaster design

Okay, now that's an elephant gun, alright!

I mean Labo is approaching 2 million total between the different kits, and is already over a million on the original variety kit, so I wouldn't call it a flop, honestly. Not everything has to sell 5+ or 10+ million copies to be considered successful.

Perfect combo for him I'd say, unless he has no Switch yet

Feel free to list them, because other than Astral Chain and Deamon x Machina, i don't know a lot more that doesn't look like Indie games or 2d games.
