damn 70k without any big releases in a while that's great. DOA 6 bombed i'm assuming, doesn't look like good numbers at all.
Zelda BOTW reached 1.3 millions on Switch. Smash and NSMBU keep selling really well.

Zelda passes 1.3 mil and closing in on the record for the series in the region, Smash is about to pass Splatoon 2 and 3 mil overall in just 3 months, and Switch is closing in on the PS4 total with yet another Pacman in marketshare. Nintendo is killing it in Japan.

you can get a switch for around $250 without dock in japan for almost a year now

well, the PS4 is clearly on it's way out in Japan .. I'm not sure it will even reach 10m at this pace, although it technically is still tracking ~600k ahead of the PS3 thanks to some much higher profile releases
