When was the last time that a 6th year old home console sold more than 200k/weekly at $299??

Xbox 360S in 2011 and PS3 Superslim in 2012 both still had a $299 pricetag and selling 200k a week. The DS even made 300k+ in it's 6th year, though obviously at a much cheaper price.

With this numbers its obvious that Microsoft is on the way out in console bussines, and on the way in, in Gaming Service Bussines. Closing themself to only one hardware with this numbers, means death to them. Console agnostic service driven XBOX is the only way to go.

Adjustments made on the front page to these numbers: Switch now leads PS4 242k to 220k

The ps4 has absolutely no right to be topping the chart in year 6. No right whatsoever. How does it pull it off?

At $299, and still very competitive; PS4 does not even need a price cut, can you imagine ?  In Japan maybe, but I don't think it's the right time; Jap can buy 60-70k Switch per week without new games, 'cause its the new cool trend, a lovely and colorful handheld from Nintendo to take with them when they go to work or to school.   September 2019 would be definitively the best time for a Worldwide price cut at $199, and enlarge even more the Playstation ecosystem, and be ready for PS5 the year after, BC, and PSN bigger than ever.   Sony are doing all perfectly this Gen, and PS4 the most profitable playstation console of all.  Congrats Sony!

Yeah, PS4 got adjusted down a lot in the US, now on par with the XBO there, which is much more likely.

Xbox 360 had the 4Gb S for $199 and I think the 250Gb was around $250/300.

The super slim model of ps3 also had a 12 Gb which I can’t remember if it was at $199.

Still the PS4 has 2 models at $299/399 and still pulling more than 200k a week. I think that’s remarkable.

I know they are done but I wanted to know when the rollout of shipment data will start. ^^

They’ll have an ETA when it’s ready.

Ok thank you.

Seems like OP is outdated with first page...
But anyway, we are still having PS4 and Switch very close at the moment.

Wow, that's a neat tool. How accurate has it proven to be thus far? From that first post, it looks like save for a few exceptions it usually gets the winner right and Switch and PS4 pretty closely, but not so much with Xbox, but that it's been getting better over time.

Outside of the holidays (which gets scewed too much by promotions and rush sales in brick&Mortar stores) and after some adjustments it is pretty close to correct, just preorder bundles are still throwing the whole chart off sometimes. But there are none for February, so no problem there.

In other words, I thrust the tool more right now than the numbers we have for this week.

Me too!
