For that to happen PS4 would have to outsell Switch by around 50 million lifetime, which seems extremely unlikely.

Something like:

135m PS4's
85m Switch's
50m XB1's

It could happend... depends on how long the switch keeps selling like it is currently.

135m for the PS4 looks impossible to me...

Because you forgot 22,23,24.
Also I think sales in 2019,2020,2021 will be slightly higher than you.

Im not saying its 100% going to happend, but its not impossible.
This is assumeing the PS4 keeps selling a bit, after the PS5 release.
And the Switch has a normal nintendo system console life cycle (slightly shorter than playstation ones).

However...I still believe that Switch might reach 100m, unless sales collapse like the Wii

"Because you forgot 22,23,24."

But the curve will keep decreasing and quickly because of the PS5. In 2026 they will only sell 100.000 units worldwide.

135M is very possible;  108M by the end of 2019 is a very easy goal, 14-15M in 2020 as well with a price cut by sept 2019; that makes 122-123M by the end of 2020; PS4 will not magically disappear in 2021 and 2022; even though it will start to fade more and more, 135M is more than a realistic figure if you ask me.

Sweet more numbers! Man the Switch is on fire! Ps4 not surprisingly still holding strong very good and healthy for its age. XB1 sales.....well they are just sad to me smh. Sad compared to the other but still good for a console.

This won't happen even in the best case, PS4 sold 18m units in 2019 which brought LTD to 91.6m units sold. We already know that PS4 is selling 25% less than last year, which means that probably will sell max 14.5m units in the best case. How is it possible that will reach those numbers?

EDIT: my mistake, I considered only SOLD numbers and not shipped ones, shame on me

Zanark best Inazuma Eleven pg

Is there any logical explanation of why European Switch number is low in comparison to Japan and the US despite the shipment from the previous quarter was above Japan by a large margin?

I know other Included other countries out of Euro as well.

Because the flag in Europe has Sony on it.

I have only one explanation about the domination of the PS4 over the Switch in Europe : FIFA

US and Japan don't give a fuck about soccer, but UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy have the best soccer in the world, the FIFA license alone could explain a lot of the sales.

You guys should look at what hes asking, it has nothing to do with PS4. Hes asking why Switch is lower in Europe than it is in Japan when Nintendo's most recent data shows Switch doing better in Europe than Japan.
