You can create countless of fake Epic Store accounts if you really want to by using the E-Mail addresses of others. There is no way of the people knowing that their E-Mail address has been used for creating an Epic Store account.

Those are basics for creating an account, but this process seems to be unknown for the people working at Epic.

Makes publishers going exclusive for such a store even worse….

So...a nice and easy way for people to review bomb games, on multiple fake accounts. Nice Epic.

It would be if Epic Store would have a feature like reviewing games.

By verifying do you mean you don't have to click a link sent to the email or you don't have to do something else?

one thing I do like about epic games store is how streamline it is to navigate and of course of the free games every 2 weeks. I hope they address the email stuff.

You don't have to create a new E-Mail. You can use all the existing ones which weren't used for the Epic Store or use E-Mail addresses that don't even exist. Epic is not sending you a link to verify that E-Mail.

For example, I can use your E-Mail address as long as it is not being used already, download a free multiplayer game like Fortnite and go on cheating until being banned. You won't be able to use that E-Mail address for your Epic account on Fortnite if you ever plan to do so.

Hmm, this sounds extremely poor on Epic's side. I hadn't even considered this and was about to come here asking 'so what'.

Well the launcher just updated and sent me a log-in code to my e-mail... so... people won't be able to abuse this past a certain threshold.

Also, just to point out recent news, Shakedown: Hawaii hasn't been pulled off of Steam, but they are now selling to Epic store only and won't be selling on Steam till 2020, so yet another bribed exclusive by Epic.
