Honestly, this doesn't even qualify as a rumor. If the person had some tiny shred of credibility then it could be considered a rumor. Unless anything posted on Twitter is automatically considered a rumor. If so, I better go and make a tweet saying Super Mario Odyssey is coming to PC then so I can make a "rumor" thread.

And before someone misconstrues what I'm saying. P5 in some flavor could very well end up on the Switch. I'm not saying it's impossible. What I am saying is that believing in some random nobody Twitter account with no credibility is absolutely asinine. Surely this new generation of internet dwellers know the meme, "I read it on the internet, that must mean it's true."

  That may well be, but the fact is someone has made it into a thread with a heading that's misleading.

I'd say that I wouldn't be surprised anymore if Persona 5 comes to Switch. The Switch is the biggest thing in the (non-mobile) gaming industry in Japan and is continuing to sell well overall worldwide. Persona 5 is still trending in Japan. Joker is coming to Smash Bros. Ultimate and, outside of Cloud, who's main game eventually will release on a Nintendo hardware for the first time soon (Switch), all of the third party characters who were invited into Smash have made a presence with main games on Nintendo consoles. Hell, even Ritcher's game, Rondo of Blood, was released as a VC game on the Wii Shop Channel (RIP), in its original JP format, overseas.
