Probably the best game of this generation (at least based on my personal taste and opinion) :)

Absolutely loved this game! Such a great start to a new franchise! Really hope they bring back the hidden power cells and secret armor in the sequel. The cauldrons were so cool too. Bigger map, more dinosaurs and what would really take the cake is an armored flight suit. Will be interesting to see where they go with the story. Can't wait!

One of my favourites game of this Gen. Im level 50 and just started the frozen wild DLC. I can't wait to  see what's next from GG. In my dreams I see next Killzone (or next New IP FPP) build around expolration, story and character driven open world with gameplay twist ( just shooting i boring as hell).

Great news.The game deserved those sales.And it deserves a sequel to improve upon it!

Thats interesting. The future, i mean. I personally think... the next true "Killzone"-Shooter, end of 2020/2021. And then Horizon Zero Dawn 2 :)

Most probably it is because Horizon is new IP.  While GOW, SM, U4 are well established franchises.

the 1st Killzone needs to be remade, because the story of the franchise has gone downhill. They should remake/reimagine the 1st one while having the feel of KZ2 in mind.  Shadow fall open areas were nice, but it felt like if it was other IP and not KZ; also the story sucked.
The 1st game was very ambitious, so with all the tech an experience they got they can make it a Masterpiece.

The biggest Killzone enemy is the biggest strangh as well. THe iconic Hellghast and world design. The enemies are very unhuman,it feels like you are fighting robots then people.They need to redesign the whole concept and lore. Make it less hard core sf and more adventure  RPG. Bulit a great story around the main protagonist, make hellghasts  more intersting and human and fighting them more strategic, amke the world complex and amazing to explore.
