So, to summarize the details:

-Microsoft would potentially release Game Pass on Switch through their upcoming xCloud streaming service.
-Microsoft might publish some of their first party titles that make sense like Ori and the Blind Forest on Switch via ports.
-Announcement could come as soon as this year
-No details yet on rather Nintendo might return the favor by releasing some of their games on Xbox, though considering other recent rumors of a big Microsoft-Nintendo partnership next-gen, it is a possibility.

I really don't want Nintendo releasing their games on Xbox. Microsoft already turned Banjo-Kazooie into an empty vehicle building game, who's to say they won't turn Mario into the next Gears of War?

I'm referring to Nintendo possibly choosing to release some of their games on Xbox next gen via porting, not Nintendo letting Microsoft's studios have a crack at Nintendo's IP library xD I can't imagine that MS would release some of their exclusives on Switch unless Nintendo was willing to return the favor and release some of their exclusives on Xbox, but you never know with Phil.

Why switch and not ps4? Their games would be much easier to port over to and gamepass would be much more profitable on the ps4.

Masterchief for Super Smash DLC pack 5 confirmed?

In all seriousness, I will totally (as a Switch owner) buy a bunch of MS IP if released on Switch. They can have my money if I can play Banjo Tooie on THE GO!

Master Chief in Smash would be amazing!

Well won't letting Nintendo games being ported to Xbox take away from the incentives to buy Nintendo Switch?

Sony wouldn't allow it I would guess. Nintendo doesn't get a lot of these types of games and likely MS is giving them a cut of the revenue if this is true.

MS' goal is to supplant Sony at the end of the day.

Nintendo and MS have had a very good relationship the past year or two, with Nintendo choosing to implement crossplay with Microsoft many months before Sony finally warmed up to the idea of crossplay. Makes sense to me.

If Google does indeed release a next-gen console like some rumors suggest, Microsoft's and Nintendo's best hope of surviving the dual onslaught of Sony and Google would be to partner with each other, in theory at least.

This may be the craziest Nintendo rumor in months. Just because Microsoft let Minecraft Switch use Banjo-Kazooie assets, doesn't mean we're gonna get Game Pass and Microsoft published games on Switch.

Problem is the move is smart in that it gives MS more market penetration regardless of their hardware sales, Switch is already a platform where people double dip and it can easily be passed off as buy the Xbox version for higher fidelity or the Switch versions for portability of MS titles. It essentially turns Switch units into Xbox units granting them access to the portable market while allowing Switch more titles in its library, they're working on Live support for the platform so this wouldn't surprise me and would be a smart move by them.

MS direct compete with Sony, not Nintendo

But won't it hurt Nintendo somehow?

Possibly, but the gain for Nintendo is also potentially huge. Switch as it is, is getting barely any AAA 3rd party support due to it's low specs relative to PS4 and XB1, and that will only get worse once PS5 and Scarlett release and graphics advance even further, xCloud would allow Nintendo to continue offering AAA games on Switch into the early years of next gen. Nintendo and MS could form a symbiotic relationship with MS putting some of their exclusives onto Switch and AAA 3rd parties onto Switch via xCloud streaming, while Nintendo returns the favor by putting ports of some of their games onto Xbox.
