Reggie leaves in April.
Joker comes out in April.

April direct confirmed. Reggie will be there and say his goodbyes. Oh, and announces Mother 3.

That wuld be really awesome.A great farewell to an amazing man.

I am mostly memeing but it actually makes sense.

Reggie's last day is April 15th and the way they worded Joker's release date was very specifically to "expect" Joker before the end of April.

It would be amazing.

Sad news, I liked Reggie! He's only 57 years old that's still young to retire but I guess he can afford it.

You know these executives, they rarely retire like us mortals,he most likely will spend his retirement having more family time mixed with business related stuff  besides golf of his choosing.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

I knew you were joking, but you hyped me nevertheless.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Bowser is CEO now eh?

Welp, no more Mario games, guys.

Or at least a standalone Bowser game after all these years.

I hope Doug isn't publically unveiled until E3, in which he comes out storming on stage to thunderous applause.

I just hope he doesn't turn Nintendo into EA.

I dont think NoA has that type of power.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

out of nowhere

d'aww that was a heartwarming message from Reggie in that video, it's going to be so weird not seeing him around. Truly feels like the end of an era for Nintendo. I always loved how people like Reggie, Iwata, miyamoto, etc at Nintendo embraced the fun of gaming and always knew things don't need to be too serious like how they would have little joke skits for certain announcements and even acknowledge memes lmao, it was what made them so loveable and unique and I hope that can continue even if it will feel weird without Reggie now

I wish him the best in his retirement , he did a great job and nintendo fans will always love him

I'm choke with that.. Reggie is an amazing guy and this all turns out to be a huge loss to the industry, but also a huge loss for all gamers around the world. Enjoy your retirement Reggie and you can ensure that your darling Bill will continue with the memes.

Finally, Reggie, you are a admirable person , charismatic, a person who will never be forgotten for giving us a smile even in difficult times, a person unforgettable for all his fans... and personally a person who changed my view on video games... and I'm grateful for it.

It's a terrible day for rain

Sad, directs will have a lot less personality without him. I expected him to be around forever. I love that his replacement is called Bowser though
