Great another game to add to the Backlog. God of War and Spiderman officially added.

Luckily I have already finished them, my current backlog is Yakuza 0, Kiwami 2, remaster 3,4 and 5. Then Nier Automata, FF XII and FF XIII, XIII-2 and Lightning Returns... will be immersed in Japanese games for a while.

Whenever Days Gone, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushijima and TLOU2 release they will shoehorn immediately to play.

*Black = oh yeah!

ps. The biggest Enemy (the Stranger) for Kratos was impressive in this new God of War for me.

The 1 vs 1 were all impressive.

The part I didn't like about GoW was the first half getting away with Hack and Slash. Playing that on Give me God of War as first try without experience with Souls games was a nightmare =p

God of war was a great game on the pro but the controls that were new to the series made it harder that the original God of wars

The Witcher 3 still way in the lead with total game of the year awards. I wonder what if anything can catch it.

You can't compare games released in different years like that, for a start the total amount of GOTY awards included in the blog for 2015 was 439 vs 385 for 2018. Then you have to look at the competition in said years and I think we can all agree The Witcher 3 would not have garnered nearly as many awards had it gone up against a game like Red Dead Redemption 2.

God of war. Soon to be proclaimed as the greatest thing humanity has created in the 21st century. All the leaders of the world will acknowledge the greatness of this piece of art and the work it does in our communities both large and small. Elon Musk to send Cory barlog, with a small team of intelligent monkeies, to Mars so he can terraform the planet with his creativity and ingenuity and seed the first extraterrestrial human civilization run by gamers paying God of war.

What a stunning achievement for man kind, it humbles me to be among the few who got to play God of war on day one, the game thst will unite us in galactic scale utopia by the end of the century.

Legend of Baboon? Do you mean Dragoon?

I appreciate the link in the OP. Didn't actually know that Dragon Age Inquisition was so highly regarded. I'm going to have to check it out now.

@The_liquid_lazer

It's a pretty damn good game, I played it twice and platibumed it but it was a bad year (2014), I played it in 2015 after The Witcher 3, MGS5 and Bloodborne all in a row in that order and I still regard it with them albeit very slightly lesser and that is some feat to stand for to toe with those three.

I would recommend one thing though and this could be the make it or break it for you, Play them game on the hardest difficulty you can stand, I'd even go as far to say play an hour or two past the tutorial section into the open world on easy then redo it on the hardest difficulty that you can because at some point in the game, dozens of hours down the line, you will hit a point no matter how hard the difficulty is where you break the game with some sort of meta, perhaps a duel mage build with OP gear or something and you'll now through levelled enemies like butter, manage to stay alive while fighting enemies way higher lvel than you and make some of the post end game 'bosses' can feel a rahter weak. You can avoid this until well ino late game by choosing the hardest difficulty.
