This is exactly what I pointed out earlier in that he said cancelled game not cancelled first/second party game so it's another Bayonetta/Devil's Third situation where the game likely had nothing to do with Nintendo or their platforms.

Here's another one no one has guessed so far: Cry On. Cancelled a decade ago, seems like the type of game that Nintendo would resurrect and Sakaguchi has been hinting at wanting to make console games again back in late 2017.

I was going to throw in Star Wars 1313 as another possibility but that's probably impossible with EA monopolizing the Star Wars license.
