Cutting to $199 during Black Friday vs the entire year won't yield the same dramatic effect. Yes sales will increase, but not to the tune you're suggesting
Everytime I put X1 numbers low it always surprises me and everytime I put X1 numbers higher it always disappoints.
I suck at guessing X1 sales.
Fantastic month for the Switch.
With Switch I think people are underestimating how much of an impact NSMB had on top of holiday momentum imo the PS4 and NS numbers would possibly be closer had it not released.

Smash Ultimate over 5 million in 2 months is FUCKING INSANE. This absolutely destory every other exclusive.
Super Smash Bros Brawl in all 2008 (8 months) barely sold 4.17 million, and it was #4 in the 2008 software chart.
Super Smash Bros 4 (Wii U + 3DS) sold 3.3 million in 2014.

Difficult to predict, I would say otherwise...
We can talk about it again ones it's happen. At the moment ps4 is still doing well. Maybe we will see a price cut around days gone release to push the game.
Looking at the sales numbers, Microsoft will definitely do a permanent price cut first.
