Oh and also, I get the feeling this is a straight remake instead of a re-imagining like Link Between Worlds??

That was a sequel, not a re-imagining.

Excited for this it's the only Zelda game I didn't play

One of the few remakes that would've made sense on the 3DS, and of course it's for Switch. I'm not saying it shouldn't be on Switch. But Luigi's Mansion and Kirby's Epic Yarn don't belong on 3DS.

And this game kind of already got a remake with DX. But maybe that's more just an update or expansion.

I believe DX just added colors.
The original version was green/black.

It also added an extra dungeon and buffs that are a result of that duneon.  It is optional content but it is there.

My favorite screenshot:

Marin was my favorite supporting character from the original games. She looks really nice here in this artstyle.

Also, can't wait to hear the 2019 version of this track:

Ah, I see.

The graphics, with the lighting and blur, makes me think Mario + Rabbids Kingdome Battles.

Is this using the same snowdrop engine?

EDIT:// to more correct language

I remember playing the DX version on 3DS but gave up after an hour due to the uglyness and boringness. This has fixed 1 of my issues, but will it fix the other? Even if it does, this game will undoubtedly be $60, and there's too many other games for me to justify it so I'll likely be skipping, but good for all those who wanted it. I hope it does well so we can get a new original 2D Zelda game.

That was a sequel, not a re-imagining.

Every game after the original is technically a "sequel" according to the timeline. I say Link Between Worlds is a re-imagining because it shares so many attributes of LTTP, while being it's own entity simultaneously.

Does it use Unreal Engine? At times it looks like the same graphics as Yoshi's Crafted World.

The original takes place fairly far into the future of the entire timeline, so no they're not all technically sequels.  Only Zelda II is a sequel to the original.

I'm really starting to like this clay motion art direction they've gone with.

Zelda is changing art styles all the time and it's what keeps it so fresh. They are not afraid to challenge our conventions. I like this clay motion blocky art direction.
