Wait so your saying its possible for Ubisoft to bang out multiple AC And release other games like farcry inbetween but nintendo cant? Why cant nintendo have two teams working on zelda at any time? I refuse to believe Nintendo is a small company than Ubisoft. Nintendo devolopment teams are just slow and outdated. Not used to working on HD LOL, xbox and sony devolopers are learning 4k loads of graphical effects and VR. Lets face it guys nintendo are stuck in 2006.

Ubisoft: 13,700 employees

Nintendo: 5,800 employees

Ha lol owned. But surely nintendo earn more money? Buy some more studios. They need games out urgently and developers who understand modern engines like unreal etc.

They do not need games out urgently... do you even keep up with how the Switch is selling? 😂they need to show us more of the confirmed games for 2019 and some unconfirmed ones so that people know what the lineup is for this year/updates on the current lineup.

As for “understanding modern engines”.... Yoshi’s Crafted World uses Unreal. Understanding and using them are completely different things. They have many developers who understand Unreal and other engines, not using them doesn’t mean they’re ignorant of them.

They don’t need to pump out a huge Zelda game ever year or two. They need strong software that will sell hardware/appeases to a large audience. Not cater to everyone’s specific need or wants.

Yeah, this is all true.

What you're asking for sounds impractical if not impossible. There are at least 2 teams working on assassin's Creed at any given moment and even then they've still started taking gap years. You're not getting a new Zelda or any open world game every 2 years. Also upgrading the dock but not the handheld itself makes no sense. Throwing a ton of tech at the dock before an upgrade for the console itself just makes things harder for the devs. And finally it's called the switch for a reason, making PS4 and xb1 level games that won't run in handheld mode would be dumb. Just because you want a bog standard home console doesn't mean Nintendo should screw over their handheld fans

Why do you think Ubisoft faces a lot of criticism ? For releasing every single year a new iteration of Assassin's Creed, but basically the same game with a few added twists. And for giving the impression that all their open world games are the same. If you wanted to give a more accurate example, take Rockstar. Rockstar has "only" 2000 employees but doesn't have to worry about the hardware. And guess what ? We don't have a RDR, GTA, La Noire or Max Payne every year on every console.

That's just an opinion though. Yes it might be selling but its selling based on what it currently has. Wii was flying too then it died in the arse because there was nothing new coming that catered to new buyers.

Personally I am bored of my switch already. When I look at my PS4, every week there seems to be a new game or two coming out. I may not buy it but there is the option to buy it if I am bored. You get the impression something is always happening on the PS4 that meets everyone's tastes. On Nintendo systems we are at the mercy of Nintendo showing us something as generally 3rd party support is lackluster the last few gens.

This is what im trying to say. My Switch is gathering dust meanwhile my PS4 is getting hammered all the time. GOW,RDR2, Spiderman and backlog games like HZD to name one in many.

Im not saying every year or anything, but my god why waste the BotW Engine? Its been two years already thats enough time to get something up and running im sure. Also i dont notice when waiting for GTA because you know, the 6000 Triple AAA quality games that release in between. Right now im forcing myself to buy inferior ports like LA Noire and Wolf 2 at a more expensive price just to play my switch, but then i miss the trophies i would normally try and collect.

Lol you are braver than I am. I refuse to buy a game that requires a memory card to play it.  Like fuck charge be an extra $10 I don't care to get a biggest game cart. As a switch owner I have already made that decision I got the system for portability so fit the game on a game cart lol.

That's not exactly true, huge boost in sales Switch recived because launch of Pokemon Lets Go and Smash Bros Ultimate, last month we had NSMBU DX, next month we have Yoshi and next week we are getting Direct with new release dates. Wii died after great fly because it had tons of casuals that left platform after all that motion controls, Wii Sports, Fit...worn off, while on other hand Switch from start is selling to much more core games oriented market.

You are right that that Switch lineup (or for any platform) cant fulfill everyone's taste, but someone can say same thing even for PS4, for isntance, PS4 dont have not much after Days Gone launch, on other hand it seems that Switch will have very packed year when comes to Nintendo games and exclusives and some interesting 3rd party games.

They do have 2 teams working on Zelda and we're probably going get a top down game sooner rather than later but expecting Nintendo to pump out AAA Zelda's every 2 years is just dumb especially if you expect the same quality as BotW. It would limit creativity and has the potential to impact quality.
