PS5 might be more powerful than we expected, Jason Schreier have commented on resetera forum about next-gen, he says both Microsoft and Sony is aiming higher than google Stadia which has 10,7 TF. This indicates that Navi is not limited by 64CU and PS5 should be closer to 12TF and not 9TF as previously thought.

Brad Sams has also commented that Anaconda will be close to PS5 spec wise, based on this and that French leak I don't think Microsoft is making a premium next-gen console but a low budget 1080p disc-less console for $250-300 and a mainstream console with disc for $400.

I'm guessing by the wording, they expect PS5 to be the most powerful? If that's true, plus we get full B/C for PS5, PS5 will be a no-brainer for a lot of people.

Whatever specs PS5 will have, I will be happy; Sony will deliver a great piece of hardware, I have no doubts about it. 12 TF GPU ? 13 TF GPU, etc...doesn't matter. But I want PS5 BC with all playstation, and my dream will come true !

Tangible tradable collectibles having a digital copy

Abstract :

""Tradable physical collectible objects are described. In particular, systems and methods for using the tradable physical collectible objects facilitate generation of a digital copy that can be used within a network game. A user can use the digital copy and perform various modifications to the digital copy. A value can be determined for the digital copy based on the various modifications. At a later date, the user (e.g., owner) is free to give away, sell or trade the digital copy to another party in transaction with terms based on, for example, the determined value of the digital copy.""

Sony should choose lite versions of the latest AMD tech available when production will start. Settling for penultimate tech could save some costs in the earliest period of PS5 life, but later it will eventually cost more lifetime, as it will give less performance for a given silicon area, losing soon its initial cost advantage, not to mention that later production cost-reducing process refinements and shrinks could eventually start being available only for latest architectures, furtherly widening the gap. Last, but not least, lower power consumption for the same performance will bring savings on power supplies and cooling systems along the whole production life.
