Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Super Smash Ultimate Japan: 3.32mil Sell Thru! 555k Digital, Higher than MHW+Splat2 Already

Nintendo uses MC so we have this....

After 8 weeks...

Retail: 2.764.751
Digital: 3.320.000 - 2.764.751 = 555.249 (16-17% ratio)

Ship+Digital was at 3.17mil dec 31st (3-4weeks)

So Smash obviously grew. This isn't the full number so at the very minimum it should be over 3.4mil.

Higher than MHW and definetly higher than Splat2 (but close)

Update: from chris on MC

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate weeks 1-4: total = 2.880.000 / retail = 2.355.186 / digital = 525.000 / ratio = 18,23% (2018 YTD)
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate weeks 5-8: total = 440.000 / retail = 409.565 / digital = 30.000 / ratio = 6,82%

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate weeks 1-8: total = 3.320.000 / retail = 2.764.751 / digital = 555.000 / ratio = 16,72%

2.88mil 2018 sell thru

Smash is the number 1 home console title in Japan that quickly. I wonder if anything will easily dethrone it (I imagine animal crossing, but not easily)

It overcame MHW? Wow. I did not expect this.

We dont have exact numbers but smash was at 3.17mil ship+digital at years end. MHW hasnt moved the needle for the past 6-9months but it was at 3mil ship+digital. It should be around 3.1mil-3.3mil. But nothing more than that.

Splatoon 2 was ahead but it slowed down and smash is still selling.

4mil is a lock but 5mil is actually lookin like a possibility
