Total network services revenue in 2018 was 1373 billion yen, which is around $12.5 billion.

Once again, revenue generated from Sony's Network services (PSN) in 2018 is higher than Nintendo's total revenue for 2018!

But then you go and see (haven't looked today) Nintendo is worth more than whole Sony on stock market... for some reason it seems like the rest of Sony is making loses (it isn't) and all the assets are just liabilities.

With the aggravation of those double standards that point out Nintendo being worth more, but then taking less risk because they are smaller and poorer.

Impressive numbers. Playstation is the biggest gaming brand in the world.

So if 94'2M shipped, then 2'6M on shelves even with the most conservative Sony in Q3 in years, on par for what i expected...

To put things more in perspective, not counting the last consoles from Nintendo and Sony (Switch and PS4):

PS1+PS2+PS3 (348M) > NES+SNES+N64+GC+Wii+WiiU (281M).

And when PS4 and Switch finish to sell, the difference will be up to around 40-50M more in favor to Sony.

Home consoles territory has always been Playstation domination, and have never been any reason to think otherwise.

PS3 is probably right, but PS1 is 102.5M.

Anyway, great results. PlaysStation is the biggest brand in the home console market, by far.
