Capcom announced it has shipped three million units of the remake of Resident Evil 2 in its first week! If the success continues, Capcom will produce a Resident Evil 3 remake on consoles :)

The original version of the game released in 1998 and has sold 4.96 million units. The franchise itself has now sold over 88 million units worldwide. Great News for us = )

It is crazy for a remake to sell like 2/3 of the original total but in the first week.

Holy megaton moly. Not only is it doing so good for a remake but Capgods are well and truly back in business. I'd say the majority of those were on ps4 too. 74% share in the UK between ps4 and xbox. Imagine WW.
