Forums - Gaming Discussion - Kingdom Hearts III MetaCritic: 85!

Glad to see it's reviewing very well, though I was going to get this game regardless of reviews.

I see it ending at a 92. I need to beat RE2 then get into KH3, week going to be busy

Well the first 21 reviews were very positive but we only got one new review in the last 3-4 days and it gave it an 80 down to 88 on metacritic.  Is the first time a new game gets a bach of review and then a long wait till other reviews pop up. Did only a small group get a review copy?

Yeah, Square only sent out pre-release review codes to select critics. Digital Foundry said they didn't even get a code for testing the technical performance of the game. There is a strong chance that Square did research and only sent the early review codes out to critics who rated previous KH games highly, so I'm not too hopeful that the score will stay the same or go up once the rest of the reviews start coming in after release, it will most likely go down at least a few points.

So pretty much they tried to fix reviews in their favor

Let’s think positive and say they wanted to prevent leaks

I don't think it is completely out of the possibility. They did give a copy to IGN
