Dark Souls is overrated, it simply isn't fun

I agree. I'm hoping that Sekiro doesn't have the same problem, because I really want to like Sekiro, since it is so rare to see AAA games set in Feudal Japan. But at least I still have Ghost of Tsushima if Sekiro turns out to be a bust.

I always considered DS2 the bastard child of the franchise. Original creator didnt work on the game like he did the others, so the quality and care for that game showed and lacked immensely. Bloodborne was just awesome, man have I wanted a sequel to that for some time. But at least we have Sekiro to look forward to though, close enough xD

Oi. that's my favourite Souls.

I actually didn't like much at first, it was only after I've finished DSIII that I got back to it and really loved it. Yeah, it has some problems, level design is not always top notch, but progressive hollowing (loosing more and more life after every death) is what I really liked about it.

Ahh. Yeah, It's not a bad game. Just didn't live up to the quality of the others in the franchise to me really. Maybe if I play it again I'll get a new appreciation for it since its been quite some time. Hell I had the same stance about Wind Waker at one point, I didn't like it at first and beat it, then came back to it later on down the line and came to a new appreciation of it and even started loving it. Maybe I'll try that with DS2

I'm also playing it for the first time on Switch. Absolutely addicted. Hopelessly stuck on a boss but playing it every day....

Which boss may I ask? Been a while but I might know how to beat it.

I loved Dark Souls, but I can see where you are coming from. I mainly loved the map, it's very well made and fun to explore. However it takes a long long time to explore and the combat can get very tedious. There is a lot of grinding, yes that's what it is, doing the same thing over and over again to advance. Which is also rewarding as any grinding is, since you keep getting more efficient at it. However the grind has put me off starting Bloodborne even though I would love to get lost in that world.

The Capra Demon.... So hard! I've been using the stairs to separate it from the dogs and kill them but he's so tough.....

Using the power up to add flame to my sword at the same time to no avail....

Must have died 20 times so far......

Capra Demon could be killed by throwing bombs over wall. Completely safe, you are standing outside boss room.

Go completely upstairs and then right. Once you get rid of dogs it becomes game of wating for him to come under you, jump and slash him mid air, and then quickly up the stairs again. Rinse and repeat.

Holy crap!!! Literally....

Thanks for that
